This song emerged from a prayer time with some leaders in our fellowship. It is purposefully declarative; not "please open our eyes," but "our eyes are open." It is both a recognition of and a longing for calling. We rejoice in the fact that love has changed our plans.
lyrics
Eyes open
We can see the one who loves us
Chains broken
We are free to love like he does
I recognize your presence here / exposing lies and breaking fear / you're calling me, you're calling / keep calling me, keep calling // I know that I can hear your voice / behold your glory and rejoice / you're calling me, you're calling / keep calling me, keep calling
Now you walk with me
You take me deep into the freedom I was made to walk in
Love has changed my plans
It's leading me to promised land
You're calling me, you're calling
My heart is open to your love / an offering you're worthy of / you're calling me, you're calling / keep calling me, keep calling // Faith is rising up to meet the promises you have for me / you're calling me, you're calling / keep calling me, keep calling
You're calling me, you're calling
Keep calling me, keep calling
(And I'll run to you)
